21st August 2010 Windsurfing: felixstowe manor Wind Direction: sw Wind Stength: F4-F5 Surf / Sea State: waves too close Air Temperature: 25 Sea Temperature: 17 Weather: great Max Speed: guees mid Distance Covered: 4hrs (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) bit late arrival at one o'clock and the wind was up/dowm so rigged 7.0 + 7.8. loads out weather great but the waves were lumpy and too close going out, dont know why. Had good run with 7.8 / Rocket 76, but it was a hand full as they wind went to F5. Swop to 7.0 RS and / rocket 69 and was again flying. The wind was strong further out and my arms and back were going. Had a few scraps with the boys and dropped fin size to keep control in the rough water. great days sailing again, 5*****. need to tweak the 7.0 settings I can go faster, as there was too much drag. 2cm more downhaul needed. |
